Sgt Joshua William Lewis
Blonde hair that is spiked with different colored tips, and green eyes. He is well muscled and well kept. He dresses most often in plain t-shirts and cargo shorts or pants. He always has a pair of sun glasses and has one ear pierced He is left handed and has a recent tattoo on his right wrist. It is the date of the mistake in his last deployment so that he will not forget.
Joshua grew up in a nondescript Midwest American Suburb. He was popular and was a star pitcher on his high school baseball team. His father tended to be strict, but he wasn’t mean. Joshua was smart he happened to take a mechanics engineering class at the local vocational school when he had a free period his senior year and he enjoyed it.
Joshua was a bright but unmotivated and unchallenged high school student. He was bored with school by the end of his senior year with the exception of the mechanics class. He spent his summer avoiding making the decision about whether to work for the local garage, or take the baseball scholarship he had waiting for him in the closest college town. He enlisted in the army when his father issued him the ultimatum: make a choice or get out. Neither the prospect of more school or working what he considered a dead end job appealed to him, so he joined the Army. Determined to prove himself he enlisted and volunteered for the Army Rangers. After attending Basic Training, Advanced Basic, Jump, and Ranger Schools he was chosen for Army sniper school by his superiors.
Joshua was up and coming as an NCO and there was talk of a bright future for him in the 75th regiment. Then during his last deployment he was taking out a target when the target grabbed a human shield and his bullet ended up not only killing the target but and an innocent woman. Only his rigorous training held his emotions in check and allowed him to complete the mission with his team.Shortly after that he decided not to reenlist though he is has just finished his enlistment period and he is now in the reserves. He works as a jump master and instructor for the skydiving school at a local airport.
Currently Joshua keeps busy by working out and keeping fit. He has a passion for rock climbing and mixed martial arts. At the suggestion of mentor he has traded his rifle for a bow. He liked the science, person and control of being a sniper along with the complexity of the mission, but he finds the bow less mechanical and cold than the gun.
